The Respiratory Care Coordinator assists the Imaging and Respiratory Care Manager in the coordination of daily activities in all aspects of respiratory therapy, cardio-pulmonary diagnostics and sleep lab. Is responsible for assisting the Department Manager in the leadership of the Respiratory Care Practitioners and participates in coordinating staff assignments. The Respiratory Care Coordinator is also responsible for assuring compliance to all hospital accreditation standards for Respiratory Care. The Respiratory Care Coordinator reports directly to the Imaging and Respiratory Care Manager. While specific tasks may vary, general responsibilities include:

  • Coordinates activities to assure efficient and effective delivery of Respiratory services in collaboration with Manager, including scheduling staff.
  • Promotes and facilitates the development of interdisciplinary relationships with other members of the care team.
  • Ensures the provision of high quality respiratory care services with emphasis on prevention, diagnosis, treatment and education of respiratory health.
  • Assimilates the mission, goals and objectives of Aspirus Langlade Hospital and the department into a structured approach that allows for the opportunities to provide excellent service, high quality and fiscal integrity.

LOCATION: Antigo, WI Aspirus Langlade Hospital


Our ideal candidate will possess the following skills:

  • Minimum of three years of previous respiratory care and critical care-experience as a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner required.


Candidates should possess one or more of the following:

  • Must be a graduate of a Respiratory Care Program with an Associate Degree in Applied Science.
  • Taken and passed the National Exam for RRT required.
  • Licensed in Respiratory Care in the state of Wisconsin required.
  • NRP certified or become certified within three months of date of hire required.
  • BLS is required or will be completed within 90 days of date of hire required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
